Halotherapy (dry salt therapy) is an all natural holistic treatment that mimics the microclimate of the salt cave. Salt mine workers in the 1800’s were found to have superior respiratory systems, free from lung diseases that many coal and metal miners suffered from. The natural sodium chloride that filled the cave was found to reduce inflammation in the miners’ lung and air passageways. Salt caves were then discovered in Poland, Russia, Romania, Austria and the Ukraine, which is why Eastern Europe is where halotherapy began as a medical treatment.

Q: What can I expect to experience during a salt cave session?

Seating in the salt cave includes a heated salt bench as well as zero-gravity chairs. During the 45 minute session, the salt cave will be filled with a fine aerosol mist of dry salt particles. This provides many potential health benefits in addition to the warm Himalayan salt that is in the room. Salt therapy is very peaceful and relaxing.

Q: Will I have the cave to myself?

Our salt cave can comfortably seat up to 8 people per session. The salt cave protocol has changed since Covid and we no longer allow multiple parties in the salt cave at one time.
